A Breeding Philosophy

A successful breeding program is highly dependent on the
breeding stock. Although the sire himself is very important, we believe that
the broodmare contributes at least sixty percent or more to the quality of
Performance offspring. Since our breeding program started in 1986 we at
warmblood.com have selected top quality mares from Dutch, German, and French
bloodlines with a proven performance record where the mare's family has been
successful in competition and/or producing the highest quality breeding stock.
Warmblood.com has already demonstrated the success of it's
breeding philosophy with such well known offspring as the international Grand
Prix jumper Roulette {Hinnible-K}ridden by Ian Millar, open jumper Mcguire
{Jupiter-K}now competing in Europe with Jonathan Millar, open Jumper Ivanhoe,
the son of Emile Hendrix's international jumper Finesse, Thomas Crown
{Nikita-K}showing on the Florida circuit and the licensed Canadian Warmblood
stallions Popeye-K {Voltaire-Ronald-Farn}and Nashville II
{Emillion-Reville-Lucky Boy}.
All breeding decisions for our horses are made after
carefully matching both sire and dam bloodlines. Our breeding goals emphasize;
performance, movement, confirmation and temperament and frequently after
consultation with successful European breeders.
